Rihanna 20/20 Full Interview [videos]

On Grammy night, 2009, Rihanna's private life was exposed to the world when her lover, Chris Brown beat her bloody. No one quite knew what happened and Chris Brown's career was put on the line.

Rihanna was criticized for going back to Chris a short time after but eventually chose to leave. Chris Brown was sentenced to 6 months of community service among other things for assaulting the Bajan singer.

For the first time since the altercation between the two young superstars, Rihanna spoke out in a recent interview on ABC's Good Morning America and 20/20.

Pop That Zit? - PopThatZit.com

Are you easily grossed out?

No??

Want a challenge? PopThatZit.com was featured on Tyra Banks Show today and is now a huge buzz online. I checked out this site and I couldn't go beyond the thumbnails of some of the nastiest looking videos you could find of people popping their zits.

For instance:

This is not for me but the site does seem to have a lot of users who watch and comment on the videos. Guess I'll have my lunch later.

Your Hip Hop Beat Creator Should Have These 3 Things.

Trying to make some beats for that new demo? Todays article points out 3 important must haves for choosing a beat creator. You could be the next respected hip hop producer like Dr. Dre or DJ Premier.

The production of hip hop beats has advanced tremendously since the old days. Especially with the quality hip hop beat creators out there. Today, it has never been easier to create quality hip hop beats. When your looking for a hip hop beat creator you must make sure it has certain characteristics.

First of all it should have quality midi drum patterns. Good rap beats have different drum patterns playing at the same time that compliment each other. Your beat creator should allow you to do the same. This feature will allow you to separate your beats from the other average ones.

Secondly, your beat creator has got to give you the ability to implement quality basslines into your beat. A rap beat without a strong bassline sounds dead. You have to put some life into your beats and using a basssline is the right way to do so.

Your beat creator should allow you to adjust and tweak your bassline because you want your bassline to sound just right. You don't want your bassline too strong or it will over power your song and you don't want it too weak or you won't even hear it.

Finally, your beat creating software should allow you to use many samples as your heart desires. Your beat maker should also allow you to use a remote storage bank to store as many samples as you need so your limit is endless.

So if you want to produce your next classic rap beat you have to make sure you have a good hip hop beat creator. Your beat maker should also have a few other features as well, but if it has these 3 things then you should have no problems making the best beats possible.

10 Tweets Review: Zombieland

This week's edition of 10 Tweets looks at the new comedy Zombieland which looks like fun because I like movies with zombies and Woody Harrelson. Was the movie actually fun though? Moviegoers on Twitter share their experience but first an overview.

DirectorRuben Fleischer
StarringWoody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin
Runtime: 80 mins.
MPAA Rating: R

SynopsisTwo men have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-totin', zombie-slayin' badass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

And now lets see what our Twitter moviegoers are saying:

Wow an overwhelming response to Zombieland! Everyone who saw it loved it. Zombieland gets a rating of 10 out of 10 - a first since we started reviewing movies like this. It was very hard to find anyone on Twitter who didn't like Zombieland. I'm definitely going to check it out and you should too.

And an awesome bonus tweet:

Why Is Google Spelled Wrong - It has 2 ls

Today, a lot of people are wondering about Google's spelling on it's homepage. The Google logo apparently has two ls where it should only have one.

Its not hard to figure out why this is. Just hover your mouse over the log and you'll see that it says "Google's 11th birthday."

So there it is. This month makes 11 years since Google got online in September 1998. Google usually changes its logo in honor of events such as holidays like Christmas and Halloween and major events such as this one.

10 Tweets Review: Surrogates

This week we look at the new Bruce Willis sci-fi thriller Surrogates. The movie opens against another sci fi flick, Pandorum and a remake of the 80's dance flick, Fame.  I chose to review Surrogates because its the only one I'm really interested in seeing.

Here's an overview of Surrogates.

Director: Jonathan Mostow
Starring: Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, Boris Kudjoe, Ving Rhames
Runtime: 88 mins.
MPAA Rating: PG-13

Synopsis: In an ideal world where people live from the safety of their homes via robotic surrogates, a murder jolts the utopia and FBI agent Greer (Willis) discovers a conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon.

Movie goers caught Surrogates early and reported via Twitter in this weeks edition of 10 Tweets.

Surrogate got a solid 8.5 out of 10 so it seems movie goers really seem to like this movie a lot. Not bad at all.

Are you going to see Surrogate? Tell us what you think.
